Boston Opera Collaborative and Longy School of Music have collaborated to produce the second annual Opera BItes concert which features eight original 10-minute operas including Kendrick's new opera "American Flag," which was commissioned by the Longy School of Music. The libretto of the piece is taken from a short play of the same name by playwright Sylvia Reed. Cast: Mona—Shannon Grace, Man—Salvatore Atti. Stage Director: Adrienne Boris. Music Director: Stephanie Mao. Tickets range from $15/General Admission to $35 or $40 VIP and Premium Seating which includes wine and tapas. Other featured composers include Jonathan Bailey Holland, Tom Cipullo, Daniela DeMatos, John Greer, Rhiannon Randle, Tony Solitro and Jeremy Van Buskirk.
